Springfield School’s What’s Cooking?

It’s that time of year when we are getting ready for the first day of school. It is such an exciting time.

New teachers, new books, new grade and an exciting new change to the school cafeteria. We are very pleased to become part of the Springfield School family and community. We are Princeton Food Management Associates. My name is Pat Gould and I am the President of the company. PFMA is a small company that excels in giving detailed and customized service to all of our customers.

Kristen Livardo will be your kitchen manager and will be assisted by Julie Cheung. They look forward to serving your child each day.

A menu will be provided each month along with the month’s alternate choices. The daily cost includes everything listed on each daily menu. Your child may substitute one of the daily alternates, salad platter, hot dog, PB&J or alternate weekly sandwiches listed in place of the main entrée and take the remainder of the menu for the same daily cost. We will also be offering a variety of snacks that range from $ .50 - $2.00. Once we have a few weeks in the school a list of snacks can be posted.

We will be utilizing the same Point Of Sale System that you have been using and are familiar with. If you have any questions or concerns at any time you may contact Kristen the kitchen manager at any time.

We will meet with students from time to time to discuss their likes and dislikes with the menu and foods. We always encourage children to let us know how we are doing. Our staff strives to feed your children a variety of nutritious and healthy items. We love our jobs and the opportunity to serve your child throughout this school year.

If at any time throughout the school year you have any questions or concerns, thoughts or ideas, please contact Kristen, the cafeteria manger. I am also always available to speak or meet with you or your child.

I look forward to meeting all of you on back to school night or other times during the school year.

Best Wishes For A Happy And Successful School Year !

     Sincerely,

     Pat Gould
