About The Superintendent
Mr. Craig Vaughn
The 2024-2025 school year marks my 27th year in education and my 10th year as Chief School Administrator for the Springfield Township School District. After student teaching in grade one, I spent the first eight years of my career teaching fourth grade. In 2006 I began my administrative career at the Southampton Township School District, where I held positions as Curriculum Supervisor and Supervisor of Special Services. During my tenure at Southampton, I also worked under a shared-services agreement with the Tabernacle Township School District; this opportunity allowed me to work with teachers from five different schools in grades preK through eight in support of nearly 1500 students. Following that I worked in the Marlboro Township School District where I served as Director of Human Resources for its eight schools, 5000 students and nearly 900 employees. My varied teaching and administrative experiences have prepared me well for the unique challenges presented by the Superintendent/Principal position. As an educator and, more importantly, as a parent I will always put the best interests of our students first as an advocate for their intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
